Gary Willoughby

Biography
Gary has been involved at the Civic since 2004 and considers it a second home. He loves doing theatre, especially with his wife Donna and daughter Amanda. A few of Gary's past Civic credits include War Paint (Pit Singer), Harvey (Wilson) and his three most favorite, It's A Wonderful Life: The Musical (Henry Potter) and Sister Act, where he played the role of Monsignor O'Hara along side his wife, Donna, who played the role of Mother Superior, and his most recent, Dames at Sea (Henessey). When he's not on stage, he's a lay pastor in his church, sings in the choir, and is a major car guy who collects all kinds of cars, even the real ones!
"I've been so fortunate to be a part of over 30 shows now, some with my wife, Donna, and/or my daughter, Amanda. I'm so honored and humbled to be a part of any show at the Civic. The Kalamazoo area has many, many fine actors and I'm so pleased to be a part of this theatre community. I so enjoy welcoming new members to the Civic family. Theatre is fun that's why we call it a play! I am now retired, but I sure love to play at the Civic!
