Fred Western
Biography
Fred, who directed Irena's Vow and served as the Stage Manager on Broadway Bound, portrayed Klaus in our world premiere staging of The Night Before Christmas. Fred has also been seen in A Midsummer Night's Dream, As You Like It and Romeo & Juliet at the Celery Flats Theatre, and The Crucible for Fancy Pants Theatre. Fred has directed productions for Centerstage Theatre as part of the Theatre Kalamazoo New Play Festival. Prior to moving to Kalamazoo in 1983, Fred was very involved with the Bay City Players. He spent many years, acting, directing, stage managing, running sound and lights and working on makeup. For the last several seasons, Fred has served as our official production photographer.
