The Dixie Swim Club
If you liked Steel Magnolias, you're going to love The Dixie Swim Club. Five Southern women, whose friendships began years ago when they were members of their college swim team, set aside a long weekend every August to rekindle those relationships. Free from husbands, kids and jobs, they meet at the same beach cottage on North Carolina's Outer Banks to catch up, laugh and meddle in each other's business. As their lives unfold and the years pass, they increasingly rely on one another for the strength and support needed to get through the challenges of men, sex, marriage, parenting, divorce and aging that come with life. This is the story of five unforgettable women; a very funny, yet touching play about trust, honesty, and friendship that lasts forever.
