Spring Break Day Camps for Grades K-9

13-14 Spring Break Day Camp ATA

SPRING BREAK DAY CAMPS

This year, the Civic will offer two separate day camps, one for Grades K-3 and the other for Grades 4-9. Both camps will perform in the Civic Auditorium on the last day of camp at 5:15 pm! Campers will work with a director, music director and choreographer to learn the process of putting on a show in just one short week! Camp will focus on the process just as much as the product as students use minimal props and acting blocks to put on the show. Campers will learn skills and fundamentals in our core areas of musical theatre: Sing, Act and Dance and everyone will have some sort of featured moment in one of these areas, either solo or smaller group. The goal is working together as a team to have fun and support each other on and off stage! Camps are divided into two separate productions focusing on the specific ages in each one of the grade levels. Both performances grades K-3 and 4-9 will perform back-to-back on Friday April 10th.
