Lou Price
Biography
Lou is a local actor who has performed on most stages in the area as well as local commercial and film work, earned his theater degree from Western Michigan University, and has taught and directed drama for over 36 years. He has been featured as Dr. Lyman Hall in 1776, Mr. Mushnik in Little shop of Horrors and Salty Jim in Escanaba in Lovefor Farmers Alley. He also appeared in the Civic's Lend Me a Tenor as Tito, and as Big Daddy in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof for which he was nominated for the Kalamazoo Civic's Excellence in Performance award. Lou received the Civic's Excellence in Performance Award for his portrayal of Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof. When not on stage or in the classroom, you'll find Lou on his motorcycle, at the beach, or with his two grandsons.
