Katherine Harte-DeCoux
Biography
Katherine is a professional Theatre Director and Educator originally from Flint, MI, with a BA in Theatre Performance from Western Michigan University and an MFA in Directing Theater from CUNY Brooklyn College. In 15 years in New York City, Kate worked as an actor, director, educator, stage combatant, playwright, producer, and monologue coach, and founded Mortal Folly Theatre. Since returning to Kalamazoo in 2016, she has worked with Bare Backstage Productions, Great Escape Stage Company, Skits & Giggles, Queer Theatre Kalamazoo, Tibbits Opera House, and currently teaches at WMU and Kalamazoo College. She is extremely pleased to be directing again at the Kalamazoo Civic Theatre and incredibly grateful for this brilliant and hilarious cast. Love to the Badger, always.
