Jihan Ain Young

Jihan Ain Young was born and raised in Ann Arbor, MI and is a proud alumnus of The University of Michigan. A classically trained vocalist, dancer, and actress, Jihan has performed with Ann Arbor Civic Theatre, Kalamazoo Civic Theatre, The Willis Patterson Our Own Thing Chorale and various community organizations. Jihan is married to the love of her life, Larry Young II and they have two beautiful children. A financial analyst by profession, Jihan is currently a stay-at-home mother and an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, The Links Incorporated, Jack & Jill of America, Incorporated and Galilee Baptist Church in Kalamazoo. Jihan believes "theatre can change and transform lives; it brings hope and happiness, love and acceptance. I look forward to the opportunity to enrich our community through my work with the Civic."
