I Was a Rat!
Civic Youth Theatre Play
Just as the hit musical Wicked introduced us to a new perspective on a time-honored tale, so does the fun-filled play I was a Rat. Excitement abounds when a furry little rodent is magically transformed into a little boy. Given the name Roger, he faces a series of misadventures as he looks for his place in the strange human world around him. Through a series of mishaps he even manages to get thrown in jail! Luckily, Bob, the old cobbler and his wife, Joan, have a warm home and welcoming hearts. If only Roger can stay out of trouble long enough to enjoy them.

SEATING
All performances in the Parish Theatre are general seating. We recommend arriving early. Doors open 30 minutes prior to each performance.
FREE PARKING
Available after 6pm in the Civic parking lot at the northeast corner of Lovell and Park Streets. There is additional parking behind the Carver Center. Street parking is available after 5pm.
