Education For Grades 9 to 12

Unless otherwise noted, classes are in person. Most classes are designed to change to online instruction in as few as three hours if needed based on Civic procedures or by recommendation of the Kalamazoo Department of Health and Human Services If a class cannot be effectively shifted to online we will work with students to reschedule or refund the class.

Teacher, Este'Fan Kizer, recently was awarded Dancer of the Decade, Detroit Region Broadway World Awards. His gift of strength and movement is a joy to watch on stage. We are excited to have Este'Fan share his gifts in the classroom! Join us for this weekly Body Fitness and Dance Conditioning class. A perfect way to stretch those muscles and get moving again while building endurance and dance skills. This class is pay as you go - meaning you determine the price of your class. To ensure we maintain current recommendations for group size, we ask that you reserve your place for each week you plan to participate.

Acting with Shakespeare (In Person)

Learn to perform Shakespeare with greater clarity and understanding. Explore easy to convey emotion while articulating Shakespeare's language and developing skills that apply to all eras of theatre.

Physical Comedy of Clowns (In Person)
Saturdays May 8-22
10:30-11:30 AM
Price: $30
Discover the world of clowning and develop skills that can be applied to acting, such as awareness of the environment and an honest response to impulses. Physical comedy focuses on using the body for comedic effect while using slapstick, stunts and making funny faces. A fun skill to take with you to your next performance.
