Teaching Artists for The Kalamazoo Civic Academy of Theatre Arts
Seeking Teaching Artists for our 2021-22 season. Teaching Artists should have experience in the theatre arts (acting, singing, dancing, crafting) and a passion for helping others to grow their theatrical skills. Under the supervision of the Director of Education, Teaching Artists create individualized lesson plans designed to meet the intended learning outcome for a specific class, camp, or workshop, and actively engage their students in the process of risk taking, self-reflection and growth. Real time mentoring is available. Most positions require availability between the hours of 3:30 and 7:30 weekday evenings.
