FIVE DAY/THREE MINUTE YOUTH FILM FESTIVAL FOR AGES 9-14
Are you a future director, actor, screenwriter or editor? The Five Day Film Festival is an opportunity for students of all levels to practice the art of filmmaking.
The rules are simple:
- Grab a sibling, close friend or neighbor and sign-up as a team! If partners are not in the same household, the household registering the students will be responsible for payment for both students.
- Genre Selection: The first day of camp teams will participate in an online drawing where your films genre such as: Comedy, Action, or Western and Sub-Genre like: Fantasy, Thriller or Musical are selected at random.
- What is your team's goal? To make a short film using the styles selected in just one week!
The Five Day Film Festival will test you and your partner's ability to work together, create, and make a 3-minute movie. The sense of accomplishment is tremendous and you will be celebrated as we debut YOUR FILM- first with the online community and then on The Kalamazoo Civic Mainstage!! (Future Date TBD)
