SUMMER 2013 ACADEMY OF THEATRE ARTS
Teaching Artists, Assistants and Guest Artists (Directors, Music Director, Choreographer) for Summer Classes and Performance Camps
We’re looking for qualified, motivated educators to serve as Teaching Artists, Assistants and Guest Artists for our SUMMER 2013 Academy of Theatre Arts . Our freelance staff members are talented, experienced and positive people who enjoy working with students of all ages.
Our Academy of Theatre Arts is comprised of performance-based classes in acting, singing, creative movement, improvisation and dance as well as classes focusing on the technical elements of theatre. We also offer two performance camps focusing on acting or musical theatre. Classes meet Monday through Friday from 9 AM-11 AM, 11:45 AM-1:45 PM and 2 PM-4 PM, July 8-12, 15-19 and 22-26, 2013. The acting performance camp meets the last week in July and musical theatre meets in early August. To see a full listing of classes, please visit the EDUCATION section of this website.
Qualified teaching artist and guest artist applicants should have, or be close to completing a degree in Theatre, Education or a related field and previous experience teaching theatre in a similar setting. They should also have practical theatre experience. Those applying for assistant positions should have previous practical theatre experience, administrative experience and experience working with youth. Bi-lingual applicants will be given special consideration.
